Ty Skol offers a 10 Week Course and One Day Workshop
The class room at Ty Skol is an perfect place for you to master new skills, the light flooding in from the massive windows is ideal for appreciating the beauty of glass and the myriad of colours, textures and patterns available to inspire the creative artist within.
10 Week Course over ten half-day sessions learn how to cut and shape pieces of glass to fit into your overall design. Master the technique of copperfoiling and finally soldering all the components together to form your own stained glass work.
There are classes every Tuesday or Thursday morning 9.30 until 12.00 or Tuesday or Thursday afternoon 2.00 until 4.30.
The cost is €200 for the 10 session course and all course materials for your first two projects are provided.
One Day Workshop Come to Tyskol and try out the art of stained glass over the course of a day; tuition and all materials €70 per person.
From 9.30 to 12.00 noon you will be learning new skills, then over the afternoon completing your chosen project before leaving Ty Skol at 4.30 with your own fabulous hand crafted stained glass hanging.
For lunch there are numerous restaurants within easy reach in Pontivy, Stival and Cléguérec. Or bring a picnic to enjoy in the garden when the weather is fine. (click here for dates) Other dates can be arranged on request.
